Reversible Tote

I did it! I accomplished a reversible tote!!! I'm so amazed with myself and so inspired to do more! The reversible tote is a one and only type of purse. It's originality no one else will have! I've fallen in love with mine! It's compartments are everywhere! Nothing's out of place! I will be making others. The durability is amazing, so yes it can be used as a diaper bag, lap top bag, book bag, purse, anything you'd like it to be! I also can personalize them by embroidery. I'm going to be making and selling these along with other items to invest in my sewing hobby. I'm really excited to get these made, and customize each one. Please feel free to share, I don't mind one bit! ;) Thank you for reading, and much Thanks ahead for sharing with others!!! Love, rrg

Determination in 2012!

Helllllllooooooo! It's so good to find some time to get to typing out something to post on Spindle31 blog! I just want to say Happy 2012!! 2011, is gone but never forgotten! Lots of memories made, my life has been forever impacted by experiences both good & bad. Through it all I feel that it was all a God thing. One thing I do regret is the lack of sewing. I have come to realize whatever I do or have a passion for I will do it all as I am doing it unto God! Whether it be laundry, dishes, teaching, changing diapers, cleaning noses, sewing, bill paying, giving, studying, taxes, etc...I will do it all into the Lord! This is not the easiest thing to do as a person at one point or another, that's why I'm soooo thankful, grateful, appreciative to God for new days! For when I fall I shall arise! Lol! Yup, I've got some pretty scrapped up knees and elbows. I'm just oooOO so thankful for new beginnings! It's a God thing and I love it! He has been working on this lady, and I truly appreciate it and will take it to heart. There is nothing like being able to serve in his kingdom!
Now that I've opened up a little I do want to say again, I will do all things as if I'm doing it unto the Lord! I truly want to sew like I've never sewn before! This shouldn't be very hard being I never make time for my very own hobby. The hobby that I never knew I had. My husband pointed it out to me, that sewing is my hobby. It's something I do out of love! I took that to heart when he said that. It honestly motivated me to do more. My children have also been another reason for me to get this hobby going! They have a love for learning to sew. If anything at all in 2012 I will teach them what i know. All in all I wanted to put some thoughts on my blog to get inspired once again, and possibly inspire someone else out there.

Back@Spindle31...

It's been too long! As I'm sitting here, thinking of the quite time in my home and how it all starts. Once the sign that reads..."please knock children sleeping", is hung children are in... "rest mode". This gives me some time for possibly lunch, book work, bill paying, reading, sewing, cleaning, computer work, furniture rearranging, organizing, friend tag-ins, social network, blogging and the list can go on. I have done little bit of everything in this time of "rest mode" @r Gonzales family childcare. I'm very blessed to be able to work from home. God has given me the opportunity to be self employed as a childcare director since 2005. I've had the year of not getting paid for my services until budget was signed, basically went under for about a year BUT God kept us afloat. Having survived, here we are striving to do his will. I pour my all in everything I do. I just have a really deep issue, I do too much"/. I'm starting to realize for the sake of my sanity I need to focus! I need to do one thing at a time, and let all the other things and stuff become discombobulated rather then myself:). Sometimes I can't even finish a conversation I just started with someone because I go on to something else. Eeeek! Major issues I do have"). I'm going to work on my issues, with the help and grace of God:).
All in all I have finished up some Spindle31 work. I absolutely love Embroidery work! It's so beautiful! It reminds me of my grandmother. I'm truly going to slow it down a notch in my brain, and focus. I will be posting some bags I've personalized and worked on as of late. Also some youth blouses for DunaMISS<3. Please feel free leave feed back or just comment! Life is happening and God is always good through it")
nough' said time to put the "please knock children sleeping", sign away and feed my awesome little friends! Good day to you all!
